"The Labor 2008 Program in Virginia and around the country got off to an early start this year. We began member to member walks in June, and just had our 3rd statewide labor walk on July 26th. AFGE members in Virginia have met the call by consistently turning out volunteers for all of our summer activities. Their enthusiasm and early involvement is a testament to this union's commitment to ensure we elect candidates that support working families in the Commonwealth of Virginia this November."
